I practiced psychiatry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 1979 to 2005. I developed programs for the treatment of eating disorders and the treatment of adolescent substance use disorders.

​The eating disorders program was one of the first in the United States. The adolescent substance use disorders program was the first in Wisconsin.

 

Since 2005, I have practiced in Fort Worth, Texas. I served as the psychiatric consultant to the Lena Pope Home from 2005 to 2010.

 

The practice of psychiatry of the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and at the Neuroscience Education Institute are the standards by which I attempt to maintain my psychiatric practice.

I am always guided by the strong work ethic instilled in me by my grandfathers, Anthony Machi, founder of Tony Machi Produce, and Salvatore Orlando.
